Our Story: From Vision to oakZERO

Australian Wealth Advisory was never created to follow the traditional path of financial services. Instead, we were founded to challenge and reshape it.

From the beginning, our mission has been clear: to educate, not advise. Our purpose is to empower everyday Australians to take control of their financial futures. To do this, we’ve created ethical, sustainable, and easy-to-understand investment strategies. Rather than selling complex products, we offer knowledge, structure, and solutions with real impact.

The Problem We Saw

Over time, we witnessed the same story unfold across the country. Housing costs kept rising. Retirement plans were outdated. Traditional wealth services often excluded those without high incomes or large assets. Meanwhile, superannuation felt complicated and disconnected from real life.

Clearly, something needed to change.

Enter oakZERO: A Simpler, Smarter Wealth Strategy

oakZERO is our answer. This Build-to-Rent (BTR) strategy gives individuals — including self-managed super fund (SMSF) holders — the chance to invest in housing that is sustainable, council-aligned, and completely hassle-free. Best of all, it offers the potential for returns of up to 100% in 3 years and 333% in 10.

But what exactly is Build-to-Rent? Put simply, it’s a property model where homes are developed specifically for long-term rental. These assets are retained and managed by the investor, generating stable rental income — instead of being sold. This approach offers ongoing returns, not just a one-time profit.

Our First Step: The Gladstone Pilot

To test and refine this model, we launched the first oakZERO pilot in Gladstone, Queensland in 2025. Gladstone was chosen for its genuine housing need, progressive leadership, and openness to innovation.

Following positive discussions, Gladstone Regional Council began a formal review of the project. This response affirmed our belief that the future of retirement and housing is small-scale, high-impact, and community-aligned.

Tiny Super Solutions: A Tool for Change

To make oakZERO accessible to more Australians, we developed Tiny Super Solutions. This companion strategy allows individuals to invest through their super or personal savings, transparently and legally.

By removing barriers to entry, we help more people build passive income, reduce tax, and grow wealth — all while doing good.
